Alicia & Hayden’s Kurtz Orchards wedding was an elegant outdoor affair, with a beautiful ceremony on the lawn and candle-lit dinner in an orchard under the stars.
This day was truly an authentic reflection of who Alicia & Hayden are and what they love. They wanted a wedding that was elegant, modern and unique. While still being laid-back, fun, and free-spirited. When they found Kurtz Orchards they knew it was the perfect wedding venue to bring their vision to life.
Both an orchard and vineyard, it allowed for an upscale yet relaxed feel with natural gardens, cozy spaces and an outdoor reception area. They encouraged all their guests to show up to Kurtz Orchards for the wedding dressed in black or white, or a combination of the two. And stated “extra love for those sharing white with the bride”.
As creatives, they did things their own way and ditched any traditions that didn’t align with their values. Alicia wasn’t afraid to rock a bold bridal look with her layered gold necklaces, red lip, bridal cape and statement ponytail. She DIY-ed her own hair vine, all the wedding signage, table settings and floral arrangements.
The ceremony was deeply moving as Alicia & Hayden read personal vows to one another while holding an oathing stone. They crafted their entire ceremony script and added in their own special readings and traditions. After being announced as husband & wife they walked down the aisle, toasting champagne flutes with all their guests.
They enjoyed a magical dinner under Edison lights with all their friends & family, had an epic dance party and ended things off with a sparkler exit. We felt SO lucky to capture this wedding at Kurtz Orchards.
