Jake & Julie’s Ontario camp wedding was such a beautiful and intentional celebration of their love. Growing up, Julie spent all her summers at Camp Omagh, and her parents continue to manage the grounds even today. So it was the perfect spot for her & Jake to tie the knot with the family & friends who matter most to them. They wanted a laid-back, fun, and outdoorsy wedding and that’s exactly what they got.
We travelled just down the road from the camp to Rattlesnake Point where Jake and Julie had a sweet “first look” together. Julie was giddy with anticipation, and Jake was beyond excited to see his bride. They literally couldn’t stop smiling the whole time. It was a moment of total peace before the excitement of the day began.
The rest of the day was just an absolute blast. A bunch of their guests surprised Jake and Julie MID-CEREMONY with a “flash mob” style song. Like literally, guests just started standing up and joined together in song, serenading the happy couple. It was adorable.
There was lawn games for the guests, KFC for dinner, and a bonfire to end off the night. It was such a special day that we felt truly honoured to be a part of.
