When they first described their wedding day to us, Sarah & Scott explained that they wanted to plan a glamping wedding at Whispering Springs that was casual and less traditional. More like a big party with their closest family & friends (and lots of delicious food).
Their wedding style was classic and elegant, with the groomsmen in tuxes and the bridesmaids in love green mix & match dresses. They contrasted formal attire with a very casual atmosphere at Whispering Springs.
As a couple, Sarah & Scott love to escape the city and head up north every weekend. So they knew they wanted to incorporate their love of the outdoors/nature into their wedding day. Whispering Springs was the perfect venue to facilitate their vision, as it was just 90 minutes from Toronto, had an incredibly unique and intimate ceremony space, outdoor fire pits that provided a Northern feel, and could accommodate their friends & family overnight in the glamping tents.
Their ceremony in the forest chapel was especially beautiful. Being surrounded by those tall trees was magical, while the band played some of their favourite songs. Christine from Flower Treasures brought their vision to life with gorgeous florals throughout the aisles.
We had SO much fun capturing this glamping wedding at Whispering Springs through both photo & video. Their “highlight film” is guaranteed to hit you right in the feels.
