We love these two. Since the first time they reached out to us about their wedding photos we’ve had coffee dates, taco dates, Aisha and I have been forced to listen to the boys talk endlessly about soccer together, and finally we got to spend the biggest day of their lives with them. How cool is our job!?!
When we arrived at Pillar & Post the morning of the wedding, Saeed literally said “I feel so much calmer now that you guys are here”. It was music to our ears and such a perfect example of why we invest so much time in our couples. We value getting to know each of them, so that when the wedding day rolls around and we show up – we’re showing up as friends rather than vendors.
Their ceremony was filled with emotion – from both Aisha & Saeed to even their guests. I’ll never forget the words they spoke to each other during their personal vows, or the wedding vows on a blue Post-It note that Saeed surprised Aisha with for them to sign (if you know, you know #mcdreamy).
But the BEST part for us was getting to sneak off with the happy couple and their best man & maid-of-honour. We drove around Niagara-on-the-lake stopping at their favourite spots for photos. The rain held off just for us, and we were able to spend the most peaceful moments capturing the newlyweds by the lake.
We are so grateful to these two for allowing us to be apart of this experience, and can’t wait for more taco dates in the future.
